Foreign Language Learning Activities

Our school attaches great importance to “language learning” and provides children with a rich and authentic language environment and materials to develop their listening, speaking, reading and writing skills and cultivate a good attitude towards language communication.

  • English – The Native English teacher is scheduled daily to conduct English activities for young children. The topics focus on interesting and life-oriented themes, through stories, singing and games, games, and using the “Letterland” pinyin teaching method to improve students’ proficiency. Reading and writing skills.

  • Putonghua – Teachers who have achieved Grade 2 Level B or above in the “Putonghua Proficiency Test” conduct Putonghua activities for young children. The topics focus on interesting and life-like themes, through stories, singing and games, and adopting the national language and writing method of the People’s Republic of China “Hanyu Pinyin” to improve Children’s listening, speaking, reading and writing skills.

  • Writing Ability – Use “My Dictionary”, “My Picture Album” and “Creating Stories” to cultivate children’s interest in exploring words, improve the use of words and germinate reading and writing skills.

  • Reading Program – Implement the “Parent-Child Reading Award Scheme”, “Teacher-Student Co-Reading” and “Peer-Reading” to cultivate children’s good habit of reading. In addition to enhancing children’s understanding of Chinese and English, the activity of creating stories in both Chinese and English is included in the plan, and it also promotes children’s creativity and expression skills.
