Our founder Ms. Leung Sing Tak, BBS, MBE, JP is an outstanding women’s activist, educator, and philanthropist in Hong Kong. Our Association was founded with the primary concern of providing care for the daily living of the women and their children in New Territories. Let us honor her remarkable contributions on this International Women’s Day.
On October 20, the school guided children and parents to watch the “One Table, Two Chairs” Cantonese opera X interactive theater activity, enhancing their interest in and understanding of Cantonese opera.
“Have you played today?” CLP has launched a Low-Carbon City Planner board game, which is being provided for free to primary schools and kindergartens across Hong Kong to enhance children’s environmental awareness. Our school has been invited by CLP to participate in a filming and trial event for the new board game.
Our school participated in the “29th Teacher Commendation Scheme.” Teachers Kim Wong and Debbie Chung were invited to attend the Teacher’s Day celebration and award ceremony on September 10 (Tuesday), where they were honored with certificates of appreciation.
The school has always been dedicated to cultivating young children’s interest in reading. On August 22, we selected a picture book master for the children, Hervé Tullet from France. In addition to exploring his work “Little Yellow Dot,” we encouraged the children to break free from the confines of art, allowing them to create freely and participate in a large-scale art game.
Our school participated in the Project M² reward program organized in collaboration with the Education Bureau and received the “Platinum Award.”
Principal Winnie Kong and Teacher Debbie Chung attended the Tokyo 2024 International Academic Exchange Conference organized by Pacific Early Childhood Education Research Association(PECERA) from August 1 to August 4. They shared the importance of research on free play and English teaching in kindergartens with early childhood education experts from around the world.
June 11th is “International Play Day.” In response to this day, the school collaborates with the “Smart Play Children’s Association” to organize play activities, allowing young children to engage in play and exploration independently.
Teachers Kim Wong and Leonie Chan accompanied the Hong Kong Early Childhood Education Professional Exchange Association to visit Guangzhou on March 24-25, 2024 to participate in an Anji Play exchange activity, observing the characteristics of play-based teaching methods used in mainland China.
On March 15, Dr Maria Lee, the Chairperson of the Pacific Early Childhood Education Research Association, visited our school to observe the free play, shared thinking, and exchange activities, in order to further understand the distinctive features of our school curriculum.
On November 14, 2023, Professor Kathy Sylva from the Department of Education at the University of Oxford and the Yew Chung Early Childhood Education team visited the school to conduct professional exchanges on “Free play”.
The school participated in the “Anji Play” Hong Kong early childhood education exchange trip in October and November 2023. Senior-teacher Magggie Tse, Teacher Karen Chiu, and Teacher Debbie Chung respectively went to Hangzhou and Shanghai to conduct exchanges.
在元朗寶覺小學「第六屆幼稚園詩歌朗誦及英文歌唱比賽」中，本校N班張衍韜榮獲銅獎、K1班葉丞韜獲優異獎、K1班鍾昕璇獲優良獎。
本校於12月9日參加由香港升旗隊總會舉辦的「2023-24年度全港幼兒隊伍升旗禮比賽(決賽)」，榮獲優秀獎(銀獎)。
本校K3班學生代表於12月8日參加佛教陳榮根紀念學校「2023-2024年度周年陸運會–幼稚園接力邀請賽」，男子組獲季軍、女子組獲殿軍。
本校K3班幼兒代表於11月18日參加東華三院主辦的「2024全港幼兒英文歌唱比賽」分區選拔賽，獲得優異獎。
本校將安排2024/25年度K1班入學申請面見日於2023年11月25日(星期六)進行，本校稍後會另函通知已報名家長。屆時請各位家長及幼兒按照面試通知書的面試時間，提早5分鐘到達本校登記。
本校於元朗區幼稚園校際三人足球比賽中，男子組榮獲冠軍、女子組榮獲亞軍。其中，K3班李諾燊獲「最佳MVP」及「最佳守門員」、易辰熹獲「神射手」及「最佳MVP」、何芊螢獲「最佳MVP」。
本校參與了「第28屆表揚教師計劃」，謝曼琪主任和曾潤萍老師於9月14日(星期四)獲邀出席敬師日慶典暨表揚狀頒發典禮，並有幸獲頒表揚狀。
本校參與香港升旗隊總會的全港幼稚園升旗禮比賽，並於決賽中獲得「三等獎」。
本校於教育局協辦的Project M² 創意教案比賽中，獲得「傑出教案設計獎」，並於Project M²獎勵計劃獲得「白金獎」。
本校榮獲「2022年度關愛校園獎勵計劃」關愛校園榮譽
所有獲本校取錄的2023-2024年新生，請於2023年1月5至7日，到本校註冊。K班幼兒需帶備「註冊證」/「入學許可書」，並繳交註冊費用$1500。N班幼兒只需繳交註冊費用$1500。
